It is highly present in the eyes. Taurine is responsible for reparative (recovery) processes in injuries and dystrophy of the cornea, different types of cataracts such as traumatic, senile, radiation, diabetic. The active substance is the sulfur-containing amino acid Taurine and is formed in the human body during the processing of cysteine. Research suggests that Taurine can be used for Cataracts, atrophy of the cornea, retinal dystrophy and various eye injuries. Each bottle Contains: Glycerin (lubricant) 1.0% Carboxymethylcellulose sodium (lubricant) .03% Taurine 4.5% Potassium Bicarbonate Boric Acid Purified Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative) 0.3% Sterile Water (Ophthalmic Grade Isotonic Solution, pH 6.3 to 6.5) Dosage and Use: Suggested use one to two drops 3 to 4 times a day over the course of three months.
